I LOVE WRITTEN COMMUNICATION
I have a diverse background, including theater production, teaching and studying French, research (medical, literature), and more.
Academically, I have a BFA in theater and MA in French and attended a translation program in Seattle, WA. I’ve spent time in France and Guadeloupe, where I perfected my French on all levels. Professionally, I am a member of the ATA, through which I was mentored when I started my business. I stay sharp thanks to the ATA's professional development options and network of translators. My career path was disconnected until I launched my freelance translation business over 7 years ago. When my business settled at a profitable level, I was able to quit my part-time job and focus solely on freelance work. Underlying it all has been writing. I’ve always excelled with grammar and vocabulary, organizing my thoughts, and language. I’m very fortunate to make a living from this passion for written communication.
